Best Beaches in Cartagena: Go Private

…Go Private

If looking for the Caribbean beach paradise, then select your preferred resort at the Rosario Islands National Park or Isla Múcura in San Bernando, or one of the multiple beach spots you can find. Between 45 minutes to 1 ½ hours away from the Historical Center by speed boat, discover multicolor crystal clear waters beaches.

The Rosario Islands, an astonishing archipelago conformed by 30 islands, which is part of the insular area of Cartagena de Indias. Declared a national park because of the need to conserve and protect coral reefs and associated ecosystems such as sea grasses and mangroves, and the many species of algae and animals that inhabit them. Even though is is very popular with tourists because of its famous coral reefs, crystalline waters, and beautiful beaches you will find tranquility and relaxation in this great scenario. Arrange the trip through your hotel and make sure you are ready for a 45 minutes speed boat adventure.

The archipelago of San Bernardo is a set of 10 coastal islands belonging to Colombia, located in the Gulf of Morrosquillo, in the Caribbean Sea. Since 1996 part of the archipelago belongs to the National Park Coral del Rosario and San Bernardo. My suggestion is to go by speed boat and ask for their special resort in Isla Múcura; 1 ½ hours away from downtown Cartagena.

Don’t forget your sunscreen, Cartagena’s sun, as its people, is powerful, full of energy, and ready to recharge your system before you go home.
